We are looking for a Director of Technology Operations and Information Security. This role is based in our Newark, Delaware office across from the Christiana Hospital. We are conveniently located near I-95 and in close proximity to the University of Delaware. The communities of Wilmington, Middletown, Hockessin, and Kennett Square are located close to our offices.

Who We Need:
The Director of Technology Operations and Security will draw on past experience to provide strategic, administrative, and technical leadership that plans, executes, maintains, and controls the Company's technology infrastructure, including all aspects of the Information Security Program and related IT Risk management programs. This role will provide risk-based thought leadership on technology infrastructure and security direction, resource investments, and appropriate policies to manage technology investment, information security, and cybersecurity risks. This role is also responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class services and solutions to our clients.

The successful candidate should be able to effectively communicate, engage, plan, and drive key initiatives to make our technology environment more scalable, secure, and cost-effective while delivering an improved experience to our clients and employees.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the Company’s Technology Operations and Information Security team
- Develop and execute the Company’s Technology Operations and Information Security strategies
- Evaluate and enhance the Company’s desktop infrastructure and tools to optimize employee productivity
- Engage with the Company’s business and technology stakeholders to design, implement and operate technology infrastructure related to the delivery of hosted or on-premise solutions
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate information and cybersecurity risks relating to the operating effectiveness of controls/mitigations
- Develop or assist with the development of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and the delivery of associated training to employees
- Ensure that the Company’s technology and operational processes remain in compliance with regulatory guidance, laws, and regulations
- Provide guidance and expertise for information and data protection, including participation in new initiatives/projects, third-party/vendor assessments, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Coordinate third-party compliance reviews of the Company’s controls (SOC II, pen tests, etc.) and develop plans for any required remediation
- Investigate, coordinate, and respond to information security breaches/incidents, industry alerts, and industry surveys, and coordinate and/or participate in information security-related exercises
- Ensure an effective information security training program to promote and communicate awareness throughout the entire organization.
- Plan and coordinate the work for the Technology Operations team to ensure client deliverables are met
- Provide tactical work and career development guidance and direction to team members, including setting performance standards, providing feedback, and monitoring performance
- Provide guidance and expert advice to management or clients on technical, systems, or process-related topics
What You’ll Need:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline
- 12 – 15 years of progressive related experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience
- Working knowledge of and proficiency with wireless protocols, networks, and telecommunications and telephony technologies
- Thorough knowledge of networks and network management techniques
- Strong working knowledge of common Operating Systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Knowledge and ability to understand programming changes to application software, interpret technical manuals, and identify, and correct hardware and software problems
- Strong experience with virtualization and cloud service technologies including Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office365 administration
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to information security, including hands-on experience implementing security frameworks and implementing policies and standards
- Experience with risk assessment and risk mitigation
- CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent certification highly desired
- Ability to communicate ideas to various stakeholders and lead approved ideas to successful execution
